Royal St. George’s needs no introduction. This course was the first non-Scottish venue to host The Open Championship.   The 2011Open was held at Royal St. George’s in the middle of a lengthy dry spell.  The southern location and the warm weather indicated that the 2011 Open Championship might be free of the traditional foul weather that accompanies this event.  Most attendees were caught off guard by the strong winds and welcome rain.  (2011 US Open gallery)

After Michael’s persistent prompts, the powers at The Edinburgh Woollen Mill executed the 15 year licensing agreement, giving the Marblehead Weather Garment, LLC an exclusive right to distribute ProQuip products in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean.  The signing of this agreement opened the doors to further investor meetings and accelerated the formation and funding of MWG, LLC.  There would be a need for immediate legal assistance, arrangements to exhibit at the National PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, FL and a search for office and warehouse locations.  OC supplied the legal component as well as investor shares and oversight and the ship took sail.
